Basic Operating Instructions

Keep water level to about 15cm/6" below top of tank.

Remove loose food scraps from items before soaking.

Skim off floating oil & grease on a daily basis.
Always wear heat resistant gloves.

Never switch power on while tank is empty of water.

While the contents of the tank are harmless, never insert hands as contents are hot.

How To Use Your Soak Tank

Sunflower Soak Tanks cannot be held responsible for any injuries or loss occurred to any individual through direct result of using or servicing our products.

  • Mix 1kg of powder to every 60 litres of tank water. Cookware with heavy carbon, fat and grease deposits can be left in the tank from 10 minutes to overnight. This product is not efficient in cold water. This is a water soluble alkaline product where gloves should be worn when adding or removing items from the soak tank. Avoid contact with eyes and breathing the dust.

  • Suitable for stainless steel, iron, aluminium and chrome plated items. Avoid placing Teflon coated, wood or enamelled cookware into the tank.

  • Risk Phrases - If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre.

  • If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water to drink. If product is splashed into eyes, flood eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention.
    This product contains sodium carbonate, sodium metasilicate, sodium tripolyphosphate and E.D.T.A.

Powder Usage

Metric – Mix 1 kg of KST Cleaning Powder to every 50 litres of tank water

US Standard – Mix 2 lbs of KST Cleaning Powder to every 16 gallons of tank water

Tank contents will remain active for a full month before it needs replacing.

Contains: Sodium Carbonate; Sodium Metasilicate; Sodium Tripolyphosphate and E.D.T.A
